Serendipity in Tuscany
Discovering ancient history and culinary rarities in Etruscan tuff towns through serendipitous encounters.
Starting with a casual wine tasting with friends and ending with a hike through ancient viaducts excavated in volcanic rock, this is what can happen when we surrender to our sense of trust and curiosity. The welcoming, kind and passionate people we meet along the way can truly open our eyes to some of the most incredible wonders of the world.
Carla is reviving ancient native vines like Nochianello, an old forgotten grape from Etruscan times, in an area dominated by wine giants like Chianti, Brunello and Morellino. Lorenzo, after living with Natives tribes in America and collecting spices in Turkey, decided to return to his roots. He is now passionately promoting a more sustainable and authentic way to enjoy Maremma, rich in Etruscan history, culture, the finest local produce and unspoiled natural beauty.
