The stories I can’t leave alone.

Sparked by curiosity and discovered along the way.

These projects begin with curiosity about people, traditions, adventures or way of life I need to understand more deeply.
The spark might be a warning not to drink from a mysterious cup, the pull of a dirt road disappearing into the mountains, or the realisation that a meal or a craft is what binds an entire community together.

Without a fixed brief, I have to find the angle, earn access, build relationships, recognise which moments matter and adapt as things unfold.
That sharpens the skills that I bring to commissioned work and teaches me to meet a brief without missing what a brief could not have anticipated.
