Around Lake Tota, in Colombia’s Boyacá region, the landscape is shaped by more than water and mountains.
I spent a month in the local community with weavers, basket makers, musicians, artists, artisans, farmers, and environmental guardians whose hands have shaped this place for decades.
As intensive agriculture steadily narrows what can survive here, they are fighting to keep its knowledge, livelihoods and fragile ecosystems alive.
