EATER - The hottest late-night party in Rome is at the bakery

This assignment documents Rome’s nocturnal bakery scene, from 24-hour maritozzi counters to basement pastry labs serving crowds after midnight. Created to accompany Lara Gilmour’s reported feature, the images balance food, people, humour and atmosphere, turning a citywide late-night habit into a vivid visual story.
The challenge was shooting in different establishments with low-light environments and mixed artificial lighting while keeping the set of images balanced and cohesive.
