Remote 9 - community adventure travel

Photography for tour marketing and evergreen brand assets

Client: Remote 9

Locations: Iceland, Vietnam, Japan, Australia, Italy, Colombia, Indonesia…

Project scope: Photography and video coverage across 15+ live adventure and co-working trips

Deliverables: A multi-destination library of stills and short-form video covering adventure, remote work, group dynamics, landscapes and life on the road

Usage: Website, trip pages, launch campaigns, paid advertising, organic social and long-term brand communication

Objective
Remote 9 intimate tours blend remote work, adventure and community and they needed a flexible visual library that could help potential participants understand the atmosphere, trust the experience, feel the community approach, see themselves inside the tour and book with confidence.
The visual direction was raw, realistic and people-led, with images and video that felt close to the action rather than overly polished or staged.

Challenge
Adventure travel is not a controlled environment. I shot more than 15 real tours around the world, with real participants, unpredictable weather, difficult light, long days and moments that could not be repeated. The work required constant awareness, technical flexibility and the ability to build trust quickly, so people could relax and be photographed naturally without the experience feeling interrupted.

Approach
I worked as part of the group and within the rhythm of the trip, staying close enough to anticipate key moments while knowing when to step back. I captured the full arc of the experience, from remote work and group dynamics to landscapes, meals, movement, downtime and small unscripted interactions. Alongside still photography, I created short-form video and social content designed to give the brand a steady flow of usable, story-led assets.

Result
The final image and video library became a core part of Remote 9’s marketing across its website, trip pages, paid ads and social channels. The content helped communicate the real value of the experience, driving interest, supporting tour sales and contributing to rapid audience growth.
